APPRO & CERRON help businesses find and/or create great spaces - what about that do you love?
I love having the opportunity to create a space for anyone. I love the challenge that comes with the variety in businesses we work with.
What is your earliest memory of designing or building something?
I want to say it was 4th grade, when I was given a project to design a tree house for myself, one that would be a functional home. I really enjoyed that and it led to me designing more things for little toys before moving onto a Sketch-Up class in high school.
What makes our team unique?
Something that I have noticed so far is just how open everyone is, it is incredibly welcoming and I really appreciate that culture for both working and enjoying work.
What inspires and/or motivates you in what you do with APPRO?
I love designing and getting the chance to design, as well as getting the opportunity to help create something that can physically be seen.
What do you do outside of the office for fun?
I love to crochet, read, and workout/hike in my spare time! I love a good movie and just relaxing too.
What is your favorite sport (to cheer on or to play)?
My favorite sport to play is soccer, I was able to do it for 13 years and still enjoy it when I can. I love watching football during the season, go Steelers!
What is something people might be surprised to know about you?
My love of listening to metal/alternative music. I've been listening to it since I was 13 and I just can't seem to stop.
Where is one place you have not been, but would really like to go?
I would love to travel to Greece and Italy to see the ancient wonders that I learned about during school. The Acropolis and Forums are at the top of my sightseeing list.
We are thrilled Nadia Ritter has joined our APPRO team! Nadia recently graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and is new to the Twin Cities. Nadia gained valuable experience during her time as an Architectural Intern with an Ohio firm the past 2 summers and will make a wonderful addition to our design team! We can't wait to see the contributions Nadia will make in architectural design!
