Top Ten Reasons to Join the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce

 

The team here at APPRO is a proud member of our local Lakeville Chamber of Commerce. We have loved being Chamber members for more than twenty years and strongly believe there are so many benefits.  So, we decided to create a “Top Ten List” of reasons we joined and remain members of the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce. We hope you enjoy and this may help you make the decision to join, if you have not already!

Our top ten reasons include (in no particular order):

  1. We grow in knowledge of relevant community and business topics: State of the City, Speakers/Luncheons, and Women’s Luncheon, plus more…

2016 Lakeville Chamber Golf Tournament

FORE!!!!

On Monday, June 6, 2016, the Team at APPRO Development and CERRON Commercial Properties participated in the 2016 Lakeville Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament. This is an annual event which benefits our local chamber and south metro community of Lakeville, MN. We are proud to both sponsor and participate in this fun event.

This year we were able to include many of our team members in one way or another. Our fearless leaders, Jack Matasosky and  Jim Connelly, along with fellow team members Gordy Schiltz and Cam Luong and special guests played in the tournament.  

Additionally, Sandra Tocko, Mitch Branscombe, Paige Scherer and Kris Bockelman had fun with all of the participating golfers. Players were heard laughing and ribbing each other as they attempted to bounce their “ping pong balls” into our red “Solo cups” for a chance to win a drink of their choice, courtesy of the APPRO & CERRON team. As you will see in the slideshow of pictures below, everyone had a great time playing.

Lakeville Community Events – APPRO & CERRON Sponsors

Lakeville Community Events – 2014 Lakeville Chamber Golf Tournament & 2014 Taste of Lakeville

By Paige Thompson Recent Lakeville Community Events gave the team at APPRO Development and CERRON Commercial Properties the opportunity to support our local community and have a lot of fun in the process!

2014 Lakeville Chamber Golf Tournament

APPRO-CERRON_Sponsor-2nd_Hole_at_Wilds-1.jpgAPPRO and CERRON were bronze sponsors of this year’s golf tournament, which allowed us to be a sponsor on hole #2 at The Wilds Golf Club in Prior Lake, MN. Kathy Morse, Andrea Kaderlik and I had the opportunity to be at the sponsor table where we offered golfers a chance to enter a drawing to win a pair of MN Gopher Hockey tickets. By playing our “Sledgehammer/Mega Golf” game – a combination of bowling, croquet and putting – players had fun trying to knock a bowling ball with a wedge/sledgehammer under a wicket/sign. We witnessed some unique styles, as you will see from the following pics taken. Our team had a great time meeting or re-connecting with members of our community at this annual event. Later in the day, a few of our team members, Jim Connelly with guests Norm Oberto and Mark Becker from Imperial Plastics, Andrea Kaderlik and I attended the dinner and drew the names of Kevin Jenn, a manager with Target Technology Services, and Mark Priore, an attorney with Priore Law Offices, as winners of the two pairs of Gopher Hockey tickets. 

 

2014 Taste of Lakeville

Taste_of_Lakeville_2014.jpgAPPRO and CERRON also had the opportunity to be one of many community sponsors for the 2014 Taste of Lakeville. This Lakeville Rotary Club event has become an annual tradition for many (12 years running). A few of our team members (myself included), were able to make it out to this event on May 15, 2014. There was a silent and live auction with proceeds benefiting the Lakeville Heritage Center and Miracle (Baseball) Field, live bands as part of the entertainment, a wall of wine raffle and wine tasting, and of course…the food tasting. For $35 ahead of time (or $45 at the door) – this is an incredible deal!! Not to mention – A LOT OF FUN!! If you were not able to make it out to this event this year, I strongly encourage you to do so next year! Not only is it a lot of fun, you are helping our local Lakeville community at the same time. Lakeville Chamber Food & Fund Drive

Lakeville Chamber Food & Fund Drive – APPRO & CERRON Office a drop site

Lakeville Food Shelf Now Accepting Donations - APPRO & CERRON offices are drop site until 8-8-2014Lakeville Chamber Food & Fund Drive is going on now through August 8th. As, APPRO Development and CERRON Commercial Properties cares a lot about our local kids, we have joined the Lakeville Area Chamber of Commerce Food Drive to put child-friendly foods on the shelves of our 2 local food shelves – 360 Communities and The Open Door (formerly the Eagan & Lakeville Resources Center). Roz Peterson, Commercial Real Estate Agent with CERRON, put it this way, “When kids are in school the only meal they may have is the lunch provided for them. Now that kids are home for the summer, the need is even greater to fill our food shelves. That is why we are partnering with the chamber and we need your donations”.

Details for the 8th ANNUAL LAKEVILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOOD AND FUND DRIVE:

You may drop off your donations at our office between June 27 and August 8 @ 21476 Grenada Avenue, Lakeville – Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Cash and grocery gift cards will gladly be accepted as well (please see reception desk for these types of donations – please do not leave in the collection container)

Suggested foods:

  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Instant oatmeal
  • Whole grain cereal
  • 100% fruit juice boxes
  • Cereal, granola or fruit bars
  • Single serving applesauce or fruit cups
  • Microwave Mac & Cheese
  • Hearty canned soup
  • Microwave popcorn
  • Tuna or canned chicken

Other items in need:

  • Diapers, wipes and ointment
  • Infant cereal
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Toilet paper and paper towels
